With the continuous improvement of people’s living standards, the process of science andtechnology, there is a growing attention on their occupational safety and health issues.Although welding production has an important position in our country’s manufacturingsector, welding production has many factors that harm workers in its process. So analysis andstudy on the impact of these factors to eliminate or mitigate the risk of operating isparticularly important. The problem of the operating environment, the operation fatigue of workers and theoperating safety of the workplace in the assembly welding production process, which directlyaffect workers’ operating condition of health and security.Modern ergonomics theory isstudied on a safe and efficient production system, aimed to enable workers to operate activitiesin a safe and efficient state.Based on this, from the point of view of modern ergonomics, andcombining investigation from a railway vehicle assembly welding production site, thefollowing of assembly welding production process designed and studied.First,A new protective measure is proposed for the environmental hazards of assemblywelding operations. The welding aerosols in the assembly welding environment, which bringserious harm to the physical and mental health safety of operators. So analysing formationmechanism and hazards of the welding aerosol, analysing the deficiency about the use oftraditional protective modes,to study and propose an appropriate protection improvementmeasure.Second, the problem of workers’ operation fatigue is analysed and studied in the assemblywelding process.Though analysing the process of assembly welding, the physical and chemicalfactors arised from welding operations are ignored that affect operator’s fatigue, fatiguedetection experiments are designed to simulate operating process,TRIZ theory applied to optimize the experimental process of designation, the state of operation fatigue changes isstudied from the operating process and the problem of workers’ operant skills is analysed.Third, the problem of operating safety management is improved and optimized in theassembly welding site. The "5S" method of site management and application of humanbiological rhythms are used to manage operations, though analysing issues from theoperational safety management, and combining with assembly welding operation environmentand the problem of workers’ operation fatigue,so as to enhance the security situation of theassembly welding site. The welding has the same pursuit for high-quality products. And the only way for changingthe past many insecurity issues, promoting workers’ enthusiasm for production and finallyeffectively enhance welding performance, which is the transformation of the modern weldingproduction mode from products to workers, namely by improving production environment, optimizing practice patterns and enhancing safety management in the assembly welding site.
