Slaughter wastewater is typical organic wastewater, it will causeserious water pollution if the wastewater is discharged into the waterdirectly without strict purification. But conventional water treatmentmethod is difficult to meet the requirements of the slaughterhousewastewater purification, and processing costs are too high, so theslaughterhouse wastewater treatment technology is increased and difficultto be operated. So, searching for an efficient and economical wastewatertreatment process is an important way to resolve not qualified slaughterwastewater discharged into the water directly.As people’s living standard enhancement, the abattoir scale has beenexpanded, the slaughter wastewater is more and more serious. Suspendedsolids and organic pollutants in slaughter waste water consume largenumbers of dissolved oxygen, resulting in deterioration of water quality,aquatic animals, the influence function of water body, also breeds bacteriaand pathogens, even caused the spread of disease. Therefore appropriatesewage treatment facilities should be built for slaughtering wastewatertreatment.In addition, the gap of water resources is serious in our country, insome areas such as northern and coastal cities are facing a serious watershortage problem. Water scarcity has become an important factor thatrestrict our country’s economy and sustainable development, the directeconomic losses have reached more than two hundred billion yuan due tolack of water each year in our country.In order to solve the problem of water shortage, we need to engagein study of sewage recycle treatment while increasing efforts to watersaving, improving the rate of recycling, so we can make sure for thesustainable water supply in city. Slaughtering industry production water consumption is in largenumber, but most domestic slaughter waste water is discharged into themunicipal pipe network or water around after the general processing,without considering about wastewater recycling, it cannot achieve thegoal of energy conservation and emissions reduction. In order to savewater and reduce enterprise operating costs, water reuse should beconsidered during the treatment of wastewater. It not only has a certaineconomic benefits, but also alleviates urban water shortage in someextent.This paper compared the H/O treatment technology and SBRtreatment method,In consideration of sewage treatment effect, the actualstate of the economy, the production situation and development in thefuture, select the SBR method as the center of wastewater treatmentprocess technology. The COD removal rate is96.5%, BOD5is97.4%, SSis93.7%, animal and plant oil removal rate is85.9%, NH4+.N is90.3%.Water reuse engineering mainly compared the active carbon filter+ultra filtration treatment and air flotation, disinfection and sand filtrationprocess,after considering about food safety and hygiene and diseaseprevention, so using the activated carbon+ultra filtration processwhich has stable treatment effect and high safety. After the process, thereturn water is mainly used as industrial circulating cooling water,slaughter good transport vehicle wash water, green water, etc.
