The Sen Jamie rolls are a "crown jewel" in the field of high-end cold rollmanufacturing. They have high precision, high wear resistance, and they are difficult tomanufacture and with high cost. The production technology of them is not mature enoughin domestic. At present, cold roll market pattern is present in the phase of "fall at thehigh-end and melee at the low-end". The research on Sen Jamie roll manufacturingtechnology and development has important significance. In this dissertation, throughextensive investigation, the application of case analysis and comparative analysis methods,we take the Sinosteel XTMMC for series production of Sen Jamie Mill at Baosteel coldrolling technology as an example, careful study Sen Jamie Mill Roll manufacturingprocess, explore its manufacturing process optimization method, promote its mass serialproduction, improve efficiency and quality, and reduce the production cost. Thedissertation mainly includes the mill roll for cold rolling process development, application,production technology requirements, heat treatment and grinding techniques of analysisand application, process design and computer aided process scheme etc. The study,combining with the production practice and ultimately determine the Sen Jamie coldrolling machine rolls’ process for " billet surface grinding—ESR—forging into roundbillet—spheroidizing annealing—coarse car—ZT method quench—cold quenchingtempering treatment—time effect treatment—finishing car—coarse grinding—Ultrasonic testing—grinding—inspection ", by means of heat treatment test dataanalysis，it solves the technical problem of material hardness strength, given the guaranteethat the mechanical properties of cold roll grinding method, through practice, it solve theroll to the precision control of the grinding process, in addition. It uses CAXA—CAPPtechnology to solve a series of process data processing problem, raise productionefficiency.In this dissertation, the essentials are integrated production experience, theauthor earnestly exercise and become. Its research results on manufacturing technology forcold rolls of continuous improvement and optimization has positive effect.
