| The working efficiency and operative stability of carpet loom are closely related to the dynamic characteristics of its structures. And the principal system is the core of carpet loom which is complicated and the stiffness is low so that have an important influence on the dynamic characteristics of carpet loom. The studying object of this article is the overlong spindle system of wide heavy carpet tufting machine, the research purposes are to improve the working rotation rate of principal and the performance of carpet tufting machine, as well as analyze and research its dynamic characteristics by using three dimensional modeling software SOLIDWORKS, finite element analysis software ANSYS and the computing platform MATLAB.(1) Build the model of spindle system of wide heavy carpet tufting machine theoretically based on the transfer matrix method and the rolling bearing analysis theory. Write the dynamic characteristic of spindle system based on the MATLAB to analyse the calculating program,the modal and dynamics of spindle system, then calculate the multistage natural frequency and critical speed.(2) Regard the faying surface of principal and bearing as the connection of spring and damp based on finite element method. Build the accurate finite element analysis model of spindle system of wide heavy carpet tufting machine by using finite element analysis software ANSYS. Make the modal analysis based on Lanczos method. Calculate the natural frequency, vibrational modes and critical speed of six stages of shafting. And the results show the distribution of vibrational strength and the weak area of anti vibration about each part in the spindle system.(3) Use two meters widths carpet tufting prototype as the research object, make the modal analysis by using transfer matrix method and the finite element method respectively and modal experiment of their spindle system by using single-point vibration and multipoint vibration picking method, then obtain the modal parameter of spindle system. And compare the results of experiment and theoretical analysis to verify the rationality of theoretical model.This paper analyses the rationality and validity of theoretical model by combining the experiment and theoretical analysis. There for, it provides the theoretical basis for the fast research and optimization and improvement of carpet tufting machine. The results of the study show that we can get more accurate results about the dynamic analysis of spindle system by combining virtual prototyping technology and finite element method than using transfer matrix method. |
