At present, research on the cool fabric of domestic and foreign countries are mainly concentrated on the development of ordinary fibers with moisture management properties. In order to achieve the moisture management properties, the design of such products is mostly based on the change of fiber cross-section which can lead to the wicking altitude. But research on highly heat-dissipating、 high specific heat and high absorbent cool fabric through the improvement of the fiber macromolecular components and the internal structure is much rare. Compared to ordinary fibers with moisture management properties, not only smoothness of this kind of fiber is improved but also it is impated the specific cool feeling respectively due to profiled section and composite mineral powder with slowly endothermic and quckilly heat-dissipating performance.In this paper, according to the definition of coolness and comfort properties, influencing factors of fabric coolness and comfort properties are analyzed. Principles and methods of experimental parameters selection are discussed.Thus a4factors3levels orthogonal experiment is designed. Morphological structure, elemental composition and mechanical properties of jade cool filament are studied.9kinds of sirofil composite yarns are spinned by jade cool filament and wool fiber through sirofil spinning technique.Then basic performance of these yarns is analyzed, the thesis puts emphasis on the heat and moisture transfer and distribution to study the coolness of fabric.The result shows that the best fabric designs are grouped to provide a theoretical proof in optimizing the designing which are based on the the relationships between description index and textile structural parameters. Finally wearing properties of fabrics are tested and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation is adopted to analyse the test data of coolness-comfort properties. The results are helpful for woollen mill to design top grade worsted fabrics.The main results are as follows:1、The understanding of the cool fiber’s structure and properties lays the foundation for subsequent sample preparation and performance analysis.2、Rationally design the proportioning of the fiber materials, linear density, yarn twist factor and set spinning process, technical parameters.Then comply with orthogonal experimental conditions to spin and weave.Eventually, not only many kinds of composite yarns spinned by jade cool filament and wool fiber are developed but also different specifications of the worsted wool fabric are woven.3、Influencing factors of fabric coolness properties are discussed and fiber relative cool property indexes are tested.Thus relationship between fabric coolness properties and influencing factors is gained by data processing.4、Mechanical and wearing properties of fabrics are tested and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation is adopted to analyse the test data of coolness-comfort properties. The optimal compound technology is obtained.
