There are three main issues in the Chinese toilet trade now:energy waste inproduction, water waste in usage and lower grade on sale. It is great significance forimproving the competitiveness of enterprises by developing water-saving flowpassageways, an energy efficient production process, and finding a method oftranslating people’s emotional needs into specific design parameters in order toimprove products grade.At present, little research has been carried out in this field.So, some works havebeen carried out as follows.(1) Based on the analysis of siphon occurrence and the toilet work principle, andusing the combination of classical fluid mechanics theory and computational fluiddynamics (CFD) simulation, a new type of toilet flow passageways(named as backwash)was designed, the advantages of the back wash were validated.(2) Based on the analysis of the concept of curvature and curvature continuous,the emotional needs of people and images were turned into a detailed design of theshape elements, which can help designers translate the user’s subjective and objectiverequirements to show outside. The analysis of such a curvature approach can be usedto provide some reference for designers of new product design,which can also acted asa tool of judging the quality of modeling elements for reducing the workload of thedesigner.(3) This article attempts to replace the ceramic raw materials as plastic materials.In order to give a guide to Injection molding, this research used simulation softwareMoldflow pre-product the toilet plastic component.(4) Combined with Moldflow flow analysis simulation, designed a feasibleplastic injection molds.The application of research findings, to a certain extent, will promote the reformof research means and production process of domestic toilet enterprises, and willimprove the competitiveness of related enterprises. Meanwhile, the promotion of thisresearch will be effective to water and energy conservation, creating significanteconomic benefits.
