Hollow energy-saving glass has a broad application field, vertical glass cleaner is an important part in the production of the hollow energy-saving process. Now, our hollow energy-saving glass production line is mainly dependent on some advanced technology and equipment imported from foreign, it is costly in importing and maintaining in the use process, which caused the hollow energy-saving production costs highly increased. This paper will be research on the vertical glass cleaner which is one of the key technology in the production of hollow energy-saving, it will play an important role in promoting and developing our independent research in the vertical glass cleaner of the hollow energy-saving glass production.Air knife structure of the vertical glass cleaner play a decisive role on the wind-force, this paper simulated the dynamic gas flow in the air knife by FLOTRAN CFD module of the finite element soft ANSYS, and through the experiment to verify the accuracy of the results of the theoretical analysis. Finite element simulation was used to study the different size of outlet air knife affect on the blow speed and the gas flow field characteristics. The results show that as the decreasing of the horizontal wind blade outlet size of the air knife, the wind blow speed is increasing. It can produce eddy current inside the working chamber at the same time, which not only influence on the performance of the air flow, but also make the air knife produce vibration. In order to verify the accuracy of the simulation, according to the vertical glass cleaner air knife work condition and the specific space, the cantilever beam deflection and vibration deformation experiment is designed, the cantilever beam as the elastic element and carried out the simulation experiment, and collected the deformation at the mouse of the cantilever beam by the signal acquisition instrument. By analyse the collected data and according to the theoretical calculate wind speed, error in10percent when take the simulation result compares to the actual air flow speed, the simulation result is coincide with the actual air flow speed.
