The structure of rural household energy consumption in China was analyzed in this paper. Through build and research data analysis methods of rural household energy consumption structure in China, analysis and research change features of rural household energy consumption structure in China. We researched energy types, energy use and effective energy consumption, the results indicated that the energetic categories are straw, firewood, coal, electricity, petroleum products and biogas, straw and firewood consumption accounted for79.80%of total energy consumption in1996, coal accounted for17.43%, biogas accounted for0.45%, electricity and oil products was used very little as only2.31%; straw and firewood consumption accounted for74.75%in2010, coal accounted for14.25%, biogas accounted for2.57%, electricity and oil products accounted for8.44%. Electricity and petroleum products energy consumption increased gradually, but the solid biomass is still the main energy source in rural areas in China. Energy use in residences mainly involved cooking· hot, household appliances, lighting and refrigeration. Cooking· hot water accounted for65.95%in1996, heating was up to32.58%, lighting accounted for1.19%, refrigeration was0.08%, household appliances was0.19%; in2010, cooking· hot water accounted for49.33%, heating was45.86%, lighting was0.91%, refrigeration accounted for0.61%, household appliances accounted for3.29%. Rural household energy consumption in China increased to11352.05PJ from7451.82PJ from1996to2010, effective energy consumption increased to4693.65PJ from2214.77PJ, energy efficiency has improved greatly from29.72%to41.35%.Through the cross-sectional study of rural household energy consumption in various regions of China in2010found that due to the demand of heating in winter in northern China, eneragy consumption and effective energy consumption is far higher than the southern areas. In the developed areas, energy efficiency is relatively high. From the point of view of the types of energy consumption, straw and firewood were more than60%of all energy consumption was most largely used in most areas. In the coal-rich areas, coal consumption is higher. In the developed areas, electricity and petroleum products consumption are higher. From the point of view of the use of energy consumption, energy consumption is mainly used for heating and cooking· hot water in the northern regions, energy consumption were more than90%of all energy consumption in most areas; energy consumption is mainly used for cooking·hot water in the southern regions, energy consumption were more than60%of all energy consumption in most areas; lighting, refrigeration, and household appliances energy consumption is very small. This thesis has analyzed the framework of rural household energy consumption throughout northeastern China. In this paper we respectively researched180families energy end-use, energy use and power consumption, the results indicated that the energetic categories are firewood, straw, coal. LPG and electricity, among which straw and firewood it has accounted for68.8%-78.33.9%of all energy consumption is most largely used, and coal is also up to16.0%-29.0%. LPG and electricity consumption is used very little, accounting for only2.9%-6.9%of total energy consumption. Energy use in residences mainly involved cooking, heating, hot water supply, and the usage of household appliances, such as:lighting and air-conditioning. Among all of these uses, cooking is the most common, this accounted for41.2%-51.0%of all energy consumption. Secondly heating for32.8%-44.4%, hot water supply for7.5%-15.5%, household appliances energy consumption is less than4.5%, and lighting is less than1.5%.
