Sand and fluid production in the high pressure gas well is a problem often encountered in the process of mining. It costs a lot of manpower and material resources for prevention and research every year. In order to solve this problem, this paper designed a new kind of gas-liquid-solid three phase cyclone separation.The gas liquid solid triphase cylindrical cyclone separator is further improved to the structure of cyclone separator based on the gas-liquid cylindrical cyclone (GLCC). The three-phase cyclone separator is designed in this paper has no moving parts, no internal complex device, using reasonable feeding, discharging and cyclone occurrence structure, and has high separation efficiency.This paper has done a lot of optimized simulation of the overflow tube diameter, cone angle and the depth of the overflow pipe inserted into the barrel on the basis of determined cyclone body height, cylindrical diameter, and inlet pipe diameter etc. Finally the structure size of the three phase cyclone is determined and a theoretical foundation for the machining of the equipment is laid.In this article, we use Fluent software to simulate the three-dimensional single phase calculation of the cyclone separator, to obtain the single phase flow field distribution inside the equipment and compare with the traditional cyclone flow field distribution. It shows that the single phase flow field distribution in cyclone separator is rational, and same as the original design idea. In the two phase numerical simulation, we obtain the particle separation efficiency of different particle sizes and get separated particle size and separation limit.We have carried on the experiment of the three-phase cyclone separator, obtained the optimum cyclone separator operation gas flow range. Based on the optimum operation gas flow, we have carried out the pressure performance experiment of the cyclone separator and researched the performance of pressure effected by gas flow rate and inlet fluid concentration and the back pressure. We have finished the droplet separation efficiency measurement experiment of the cyclone separator, and got the influence of flow rate and particle diameter to the separation efficiency.
