New Approach To Two-Pieces-Sleeve Shape And Parameterized Pattern Design Of Female Suit

For a period of time the clothing industry plays an important role in the nationaleconomy. Pattern making in the clothing industry has witnessed great changes with the rapiddevelopment of the intelligent, digital, and automation technology. Generally, traditionalpattern making and clothing production are dependent on personal experience and made bymanual operation. But nowadays automation technology becomes the trend in the clothingindustry, so traditional pattern making experience and prediction of silhouette can hardlysatisfy the market requirement. Therefore, it is of particular importance to find a newapproach of parameterized pattern and shape pre-judgment method based on it.This paper focuses on two-pieces-sleeve female suit shape and parameterized patterndesign, which explores the relationship between the pattern and real two-pieces-sleeve shape.It aims at providing consumers female suit with reasonable sleeves design and beautifulshapes, providing useful suggestions to the process of pattern making in two-pieces-sleevefemale suit development and promoting the level of scientific research in pattern making. Thestudy is divided into four steps. The first step involves collecting sample, measurment sample,and analysis date from measuring.4025data,115samples and35parameter measurementwere collected. This research constructed a database. SPSS was adopted to exclude singularvalue, investigate distribution characteristics, basic statistics analysis, correlation analysis andcluster divide. Finally, we got the data after arranging. The second step includes constructingtwo-piece sleeve pattern equation of data arranging and using statistical test to chooseequation. Finally, we got5step-up loose measure experiment pattern. The experiment patternis obtained from the new method of parametric pattern making. In the third step we usedexperiment pattern to make sample clothes and test dress on dummy so as to test newparametric pattern making method we got. In the fourth step, data on sample clothes ondummy was collected and analyzed from the front, profile, back collect and analyze.Relations between the pattern and real clothes shape were established by regression equation.This is the most important step of this research for it facilitates us to carry out pre-judgmentof the final shape through this method in the actual production process.The automatically pattern making of parametric in clothing is a trend of clothing industry.It will greatly improve labor productivity and reduce labor intensity in pattern makingprogram. This research can be directly applied in pattern making of industry, whichcontributes to competition edge for enterprises in the fierce market competition.
