As a compound system of social economy and ecology, land possesses dual fuctions ofproduction and ecology, which has been the foundation of survival land development for humanbeings. At present, during the exploration and utilization of land reasource, most Chinese peopleemphasize economic benefit rather than ecological benefits, which aggravates utilization of landreasures and land ecology environment. Therefore, the evaluation of land ecology security hasbecame a hot research issue for scholars. Along with futher study of evaluation land ecologysecurity, the evaluated method has also gained considerable progress. However, because of thecomplicacy of land ecology security and the limitation of scholars cognition, the theory ofevaluation of land ecology security has still been a exploration stage. The evaluation index systemand method have still been the difficult point.This thesis is based on the foundation of field investigation data, statistical data and the surveydata of land utilization and alteration. Human activities and land utilized ways are the basic clue.The research method of this thesis is a comprehensive method in multi discipline includingecological economics, system science and landscape ecology. The evaluation index system of landecology security which has a regional feature is established according to “pressure-state–response”(PSR) model in certain reseach area. Each index weight is confirmed by using theoptimal combination weighting method. Using fuzzy matter element analysis, this thesis conducts aintegrated dynamic evaluaiton and analysis of land ecology security of Siping city from2001to2010. From the perspective of maintaining ecology security and promoting continuous using, thethesis proposes measures to improve the land ecologial system security in Siping city in order toprovide references for relative decision-making section.The results of the study shows that the land ecology security of Siping city from2001to2010is not stable, which experiences a following fluctuant change “insecurity”-“critical security”-“relative security”-“critical security”. The factors that influent he land ecology security of Sipingcity are not unified. Among all the factors, population density, forest coverage rate, sulfur dioxideemissions of ten thousands yuan GDP, industrial waste water emissions of ten thousands yuan GDP,the rate of reaching the standard of industrial waste water, the rate of multipurpose utilization ofindustrial solid wastes and sewage processing rate are positive effect. On the contrary, fertilizer ofper unit area of cultivated area, damage area of naturak disaster, the rate of water and soil erosion,energy consuption of ten thousands GDP, effective irrigation area are negtive effect. The restraining factor of land ecology security are rapid population increase, low-level urbanization, traditionaleconomy pattern, backward environmental protection concept. To solving these problems, thisthesis proposes practial stretergies and suggestions to improve land ecology security level from thefollowing five aspects: controling construction land and usage amount of fertilizer, practicalprotection of cultivated land, transformation of economic growth, reducing energy consumption,properly controling population growth, remission of man-land pressure, optimizing land usestructure, rationally using land reasources, building ecology security maintaining system,strengthen division management fuction.
