The work about production engineering planning has many issues, such as: many datasources, complex data types, much manual statistics work, which affect the workingefficiency. at the same time, in the prediction of the need for the relevant planning workload,artificial processing is cumbersome and workload is very heavy. Also, visualizability is poorand comparison is not convenient. Therefore, It’s essential to develop production engineeringplanning software system, to establish the plan database standard planning data management,to input and maintain regularly production engineering programming data; according to thehistorical data, we determine prediction methods of the programming workload, implementworkload prediction of production engineering programming, improve the work efficiency ofproduction engineering programming. Based on these, this paper conducts a systematicresearch and discussion.In this paper, it laid special emphasis on introducing the methods for quantitativeprediction of oil production engineering planning, including the method of time seriesanalysis, causal relationship, dynamic grey forecast, artificial neural network forecast methodand so on firstly; and then PL/SQL languages were introduced, including data definitionlanguage, operation language, control language, query language; and then it described thesoftware system design, there were three parts, including programming environment,software integrity design, database design; the next was to design and realize systematic mainmodules;the last was the application of auxiliary software of oil production engineeringplanning. We got the following conclusions: determining the planning database structure bythe application of classification methods in oil recovery engineering; establishing planningdatabases of production engineering; studying the prediction methods and program of oilproduction engineering programming workload; improving production engineering planningsoftware system, the software interface is beautiful, simple and convenient in operation,accurate and reliable in query, statistics, calculation, through testing and practical application,the software can meet the actual needs.
