| Nowadays, with the development of circular economy, Eco-industrial Park (EIP) has got considerable development as its major carrier and lots of research findings have been achieved. However, the contribution of environmental behaviors to sustainable development (SD) level in EIPs does not stand out, which have severely affected the sustainable development and the resources allocation of EIPs. Therefore, getting valuable suggestions through the study of relationships between environmental behaviors and SD level to help keep EIP health and stable has become one of the key problems for further academic research.Under this background, the research sorts out dimensions of environmental behaviors and SD level of EIPs after reviewing related literatures. Then, a conceptual framework is set up to describe hypothetical relationships between environmental behaviors and SD level, and some explanations are added to brief this framework.Based on literature review and experts consultation, a questionnaire, which contains detailed items of environmental behaviors and SD level, is designed and issued. After collecting data, factor analysis is used to figure out main factors of environmental behaviors and SD level. And then correlation analysis and regression analysis are used to describe their relationships. The conclusion can be summarized as follows:Environmental behavioral norms, guidance to key enterprise and diffusion of circular economy can help increase economic development performance. Their contributions decrease gradually, and the first factor is the biggest contributor. Construction of industrial symbiosis, diffusion of circular, guidance to key enterprise economy and Environmental behavioral norms can strengthen environmental performance. Among them, construction of industrial symbiosis plays in the most important role. Environmental behavioral norms, diffusion of circular economy and guidance to key enterprise can promote social performance. When it comes to the influence, the first two factors are larger than the last one.Then, the relationship between items of environmental behavior and SD level is analyzed so that more specific advices can be proposed. The result shows that items in Environmental behavioral norms and diffusion of circular economy which are EBN4, DCE2, EBN2, EBN1, EBN3, DCE3and DCE1are the most important to economic development performance and social performance. All items in construction of industrial symbiosis are critical to environmental performance. At last, proper suggestions, which conclude enhancing implementation of environmental behavior, paying more attention on critical indictors and adding more policy, economic and technical support, are provided for the managers and government for further sustainable development of EIPs. |
