When the pneumatic nail gun work, the needle assembly direct impact, pneumatic nail gun failure often from the broken needle assembly beginning, therefore, the service life of pneumatic nail gun is mainly determined by the needle assembly strength and resistance to failure. Then analyzing of the key parameters which influence the failure of the needle assembly becomes the focal point, improve the structure of the needle assembly on this basis, so as to achieve the job requirements. The research object of this paper is a domestic enterprise production of a type of pneumatic nail gun needle assembly, through the ANSYS finite element software components of the needle gun structure static analysis, and then on this basis, to improve the original needle assembly, in the analysis and calculation, design more in line with the pneumatic gun nail gun needle assembly job requirements. In this paper, the main research work is as follows:(1) Analysis of the internal structure and working principle of pneumatic nail gun, based on the pneumatic nail gun nail stage process carries on the stress analysis, the stress status of simplified when the nail work.(2)An3D model of the needle assembly is established based on PRO/E software, imported to ANSYS Workbench, analysis of the needle assembly strength is done. Through the analysis, the needle sheet round pin hole of the equivalent stress is maximum, and the area is prone to fracture, consistent with the actual situation.(3) Analysis of the needle assembly key failure parameters by using ANSYS Workbench software, it is found that the maximum equivalent stress of the needle assembly is still appear in the round pin hole gun needle plate, but also by the reasonable fit dimension between the parts of the needle assembly, and meet the strength requirements. With the amount of each component of the rational allocation of the needle assembly, so that the needle assembly meeting the requirements of the job.(4) Through the analysis of the failure parameters of the needle assembly key, the improvement direction of the needle assembly is determined, and then the original needle assembly is improved, reducing stress concentration, improve the contact surface, get a new needle assembly structure. Application of ANSYS Workbench software on the improved needle assembly for the strength analysis, meet the design requirements, and the maximum equivalent stress of regional stress value is far less than the original design of the needle assembly, effectively improve the service life. The matching size improved needle assembly contact surface is also discussed, and get a reasonable amount of interference.The pneumatic nail gun needle assembly structure static analysis and study, the improved design scheme of a needle assembly, to meet the design requirements, provide a reference for the design of the needle assembly, but also provides a practical and effective analysis method and means for the design of pneumatic nail gun.
