Rubber filling oil is rubber’s plasticizer, and is the third largest material only after rubber and carbon black in the rubber industry. Aromatic oil(DAE) has been widely used in oil-filled rubber produing and tire manufacturing enterprises at home and abroad as one kind of rubber filing oil, because of its good compatibility with rubber and good anti-slippery given to tires, and other superior performances. Aromatic oil usually contains 10%~15% of the polycyclic aromatics (PCA). In 1994, The EU Chemicals Classification And Marking Agency classified aromatic oil with mass fraction of PCA greater than 0.03 as carcinogens and toxic materials. Because of this, EU has issued directive 2005/69/EC, which demanded that the toxic oils such as aromatic oil will be banned to use in tyre and oil-filled rubber manufacturing from 1st January 2010. Now, The study of environment-friendly aromatic oil is actively carried out by rubber oil enterprise and tyre manufacturer at home and abroad.Naphthenic base crude oil is high quality material for producing rubber oil, This article uses vacuum distillates oil produced from China offshore SZ36-1 crude oil and QHD 32-6 crude oil as the stock oil to produce environment-friendly aromatic oil. MES (Mild Extraction Solvate) and TDAE (Treated DAE) are currently more researched and recommended replacements to aromatic oil. The work of this paper is using solvent refining process to produce MES through the adjustment and optimization of technology conditions, and focus on using second round extraction process to produce TDAE through the adjustment and optimization of technology conditionsUsing China Offshore SZ36-1 vacuum distillates oil as raw material, first round solvent is carried out at the conditions of bottom temperature 100℃, top temperature 120℃, solvent ratio 3.0:1. Using its extract oil as raw material, the second round solvent extraction is carried out at the conditions of top temperature 80℃, bottom temperature 50℃, solvent ratio 1.5:1. The raffinate oil of the second round extraction is the representative product TDAE of this paper, its PCA mass fraction is 2.95% and its CA value is 16.2%. Environment-friendly aromatic oil has been successfully developed in this paper, which fulfills the EU Directive limit of non-toxic and non-carcinogenic conditions. From general comparison. The properties of this representative TDAE approach foreign Similar Products’level, and is a leading domestic level.
