With the application of mixed production system, the research on two-sided mixed-model assembly line is concerned. Production leveling is the important research content of two-sided mixed-model assembly line, and how to implement two-sided mixed-model assembly line leveling is the key issue of conducting high-efficient production. The paper brings the two-sided mixed-model assembly line as the object to study its leveling problem, which is concerning about its balancing and sequencing problem. The main works are as follows:1. Descrbing the source, background and research significance of the paper, overviewing the research of the related field, giving the research contents and technical routes.2. Describing the problem about two-sided mixed-model assembly line leveling. Based of describing the assembly line, two-sided assembly, mixed-model assembly line, giving the concept of the two-sided mixed-model assembly line. Based of describing the common terms, optimization goals and constrains with the mixed-model assembly line leveling, giving the contents of the two-sided mixed-model assembly line leveling.3. Setting up the balancing mode and sequencing model of two-sided mixed-model assembly line leveling. The paper minimizes the number of mated-station and operators as the objective to build the balancing model of the two-sided mixed-model assembly line leveling, and based on it, minimizes the idle time and overloading of the station as the objective to build the sequencing model of the two-sided mixed-model assembly line leveling.4. Solving the balancing mode and sequencing model of two-sided mixed-model assembly line leveling. Describing the characteristics, principle and computing processes of genetic algorithms, and using it to solve the balancing model and sequencing model of the two-sided mixed-model assembly line leveling.5. Choosing the refrigerator assembly line as an example to applied research. As the actual situation of the refrigerator trunk assembly line, expanding the two-sided mixed-model assembly line leveling model and algorithm to build the refrigerator trunk assembly line leveling model and algorithm, appling them in XX Company refrigerator trunk assembly line by MATLAB, the results is good.6. Summarizing the paper and proposing the ideas for future research.
