A Study On Inheritance And Development Of Traditional Landscape Culture In Jiangzhou Historic City

Historic environment and landscape of ancient Chinese cities has unique buildingconcepts and methods. In particular, classical landscape and its culture play animportant role in the history of the world’s garden. By the interaction of diverse culturalschool and the traditional cultural thought, formed the philosophical concepts andcultural system which between human life and natural environment. As part oftraditional Chinese culture, this traditional landscape and cultural are resources andwealth of the Chinese nation. The culture in which outstanding is worthy of heritage anddevelopment. Today, it has an important role on the construction of urban culture andLandscape protection and development of the historical environment.In this thesis, to Jiangzhou ancient city of Shanxi Province as the object of study.By combing the Jiangzhou ancient city of the historical environment and landscape, toclarify the historical environment formation, evolution, and features. The study ofconstruction on the Jiangzhou ancient city of the landscape pattern, landscape imagery,government office, temples, streets, gardens, residential courtyards, and other historicalrelics environmental landscape, to tap the spirit of traditional culture and the ancientsthought, summed up the traditional landscape of Jiangzhou ancient city culturalcharacteristics. The thesis has proposed. heritage of traditional landscape and culture aswell as build and rehabilitation of historic sites environmental landscape’s importantprinciples.Chapters5and6are the focus of this study, in-depth study of the two precedingchapters on the traditional landscape culture and the Jiangzhou ancient city,hasproposed construction and rehabilitation of the environmental landscape ways which on ancient historical sites in the traditional landscape and culture in Jiangzhou. To explorethe ideas and methods of the traditional landscape cultural preservation anddevelopment which represented by historical environmental landscape.
