Study On Urban Overall Renewal Of Railway Station Square Area

Currently, China’s urbanization is rapidly development, the renovation andconstruction for transportation hub areas regional is underway. How to correct themistakes of local development and management through transportation hub areasplanning and construction, how to devote more resources to carry out urbandevelopment and how to develop resources for maximum efficiency, to promote thebuilding of a large volume of rail, as well as the whole city will be well developed,which become realistic considerations for the present. Overall strategy is a significantmethod to solve this problem, through exploring the transportation hub area planningguided by overall strategy, which can make the planning and construction schemes morepractical, will benefit for making transportation hub areas to provide breakthroughs inurban industrial development, and benefit for making cities realize the promotion ofurban function.To achieve overall renewal, the planning of transportation hub areas should providefavorable factors for it. Well, other factors such as the interests of the stakeholders willalso affect the overall development. This paper researches on urban renewal oftransportation hub areas and overall renewal which its brings, analyse the obstacles andhindrances to planning of transportation hub areas, reveal the objectives and functionsof overall strategy. The article discusses the overall strategy at five levels, including cityland use function conformity, transportation facility reorganization, public spaceintegration, landscape environment improvements, development managementcoordination, and so on. Combining with the Yibing station square area renovations，anduse the overall strategy, explore the elements integration which including land use,public space, transportation, landscape environment, and so on. Realize the intensive ofland, the composite symbiosis of function, efficient stereo of traffic, improvement oflandscape environment of transportation hub areas. During the period of structuralchange in urban function and economy, this planning method, which promotes railwaystation area and comprehensive traffic hubs through overall strategy, can make areference for the urban development and construction of other cities.
