There are more advantages about water hydraulic transmission technology thanhydraulic oil transmission technology. In the near future, it will be widely used. And itmaybe replace hydraulic oil transmission. Radial piston low speed high torque waterhydraulic motor is executive element of water hydraulic transmission system. theresearch status and the results achieved of domestic and foreign about the waterhydraulic components show that Major studies were the axial piston motors and vanemotor, which are high-speed and low-torque motor. There are certain restrictions aboutthem. variable motor and low speed high torque radial motor has not been developed.This paper mainly makes a study of the motor valve and bearing axial. The coreissue of research is design reasonable structure and gap to ensure the stability of thehydrostatic bearing, and the volumetric efficiency of the water hydraulic transmission. Atthe same time, cavitation and impact of water hydraulic transmission are reduce andeliminate.Firstly, bearing axial was designed and analyzed by the design methods and theoriesof hydrostatic bearing structure. The flux, rigidity, power and carrying capacity werecalculated using Matlab. Pressure contour, velocity vector, import and export flux andcarrying capacity of eccentric were obtained with 3D CFD software. The results ofclassical theory and CFD simulation were compared and analyzed. The high-risk parts ofcavitation also were analyzed, and improvements were found out.Then, the range of the water film thickness was researched on the foundation ofensuring the formation of the hydrostatic bearing film and certain volumetric efficiency.Finally, the results of Computational analysis and CFD simulation about the valveplate were comparatively analyzed. The valve plate structure was improved by unloadinggroove to eliminating impact and vibration and cavitation.
