| Because of its simple structure, high efficiency, long service life, convenientmaintenance, no commutation spark, low noise, Brushless DC motor is widely used inindustrial control, aerospace, electric cars and other small and medium-sized power field.Along with the rare earth permanent magnetic materials, power electronics and thedevelopment of computer technology, Brushless DC motor has been more widely applied.With the control process for the control accuracy, response speed and increasingly highdemand, which makes the research of advanced controller with reasonable controlalgorithm become crucial.Due to the digital signal processor (DSP) with high speed arithmetic functions,complex control algorithm is easy to realize. Therefore, this paper uses TI company’sTMS320F2812chip as control core to study and design an intelligent control system forBrushless DC motor. This paper first briefly introduces the basic structure of Brushless DCmotor and commonly used control scheme. Then it analyses the drawback of traditionalPID control method and describes the proposed neural network self-tuning PID controlalgorithm. And then a detailed description of the intelligent control system in all aspects ofthis design is presented. It includes control circuit, drive circuit, detection and protectioncircuit of hardware design, in addition the software of system is introduced in detail, andthe flow charts are given. Finally, the proposed control strategy, based on the MATLABSIMULINK are undertook emulation. The results of neural network self-tuning PIDcontrol algorithm simulation and those of the traditional PID control algorithms arecompared. Results show that this intelligent control system have an ideal control effect,and can meet the requirements of industrial control of high precision, fast responseapplications. |
