Stabilizer is additive mixed with soil where a series of physical-chemical reactions willoccur that can improve and enhance the engineering properties of soil.This paper conduct a preliminary test about the performance of two new reinforced soilcuring agents on the basis of the previous studies mainly for the low intensity and poorperformance generally existed in the civil reinforced soil curing agent, to obtain new stabilizermaterial with high strength and good stability, and then apply it to the engineering practice,and promote the development of reinforced soil technology, expand its range and use scale.Main contents include:(1)In-depth understand the origin of stabilizer and its application status at home andabroad, the shortcomings of traditional stabilizer. Study the curing mechanism and actionprinciple of conventional stabilizer, and introduce the mechanism and application of the twonew stabilizer. Geotechnical experiments contains: moisture test, liquid plastic test, PH valuedetermination test, compaction test, unconfined compressive strength test and so on, to studythe basic properties of stabilizer.(2)Obtain the relationship between water content and dry density of soil, betweencompressive strength and age, between compressive strength and degree of compaction,between dosage and intensity of gravel, soil stress-strain curve and so on, which provideadvices and basises for stabilizer used in road embankment. The results show that, Made astabilizer stable silt and Toomas cement stabilizer stable sandy soil have good stability, thestrength of mixing curing mixture increase steadily with age, with the increase of cementdosage, the strength increase. This study has an important theoretical and practical value inthe ground treatment, pavement, road base and other engineering applications.(3)Apply stabilizer to the road base in a region of Linyi and a district of Myanmarrespectively. Linyi project is not yet completed, Myanmar project has been completed andpass the test, all targets were met the requirements of road rules.After a number of experimental analyses and summaries, the laboratory test in thispaper summarize the relation curve of unconfined compressive strength and degree ofcompaction that can provide references for the quality control in the road constructions.
