Study On The Multiplex Passenger Mode Of Qingdao Economic And Technological Development Zone

With the development of society and economy, urbanization process is accelerating,the scale of city is expanding, urban traffic travel distance increases; On the travelmodes, rail transit, regular bus, auxiliary bus, private car and other modes of transportcoordinate with each other, showing the multiplex development trend.Because of the increasing demand for travel comfort and convenience, theimproving of economic level and fast development of auto industry, the private car isbecoming one of the important passenger transport ways. High-speed development ofprivate cars causes the rapid growth of road traffic, leads to a series of traffic problemssuch as traffic jam、environment pollution、resources waste. Therefore, it has becomethe word’s general consensus that vigorously developing public transport-led multiplexmode to solve the problems of traffic.The multiplex passenger mode, which treats the rail transit as backbone, theregular bus as main, the auxiliary bus as supplement and private transport developsrationally, has achieved good effect in many countries and regions. During the processof passenger transport development, we should learn from developed countries’successful experiences and practices widely, build a multiplex comprehensive passengertransport system to meet the diverse of needs which is in growing.Passenger traffic mode is analyzed in this paper, it also pointed out the multiplexpassenger mode’s essence、significance and impact factors. Treating Qingdao Economicand Technological Development Zone as an example, based on the traffic surveys ofkey areas, used growth rate method、regression analysis method、gray system theory toanalyze the future traffic demand. Combination of vehicle delay, average speed,intersection saturation indicators, analyzed the passenger road capacity and service level.On the basis of analysis passenger traffic problems, the idea of building a multiplexpassenger traffic mode is put forward.The key problems of building multiplex passenger system is pointed out in thispaper, it also analyzed the multiplex passenger traffic system’s guarantee mechanismsfrom the aspects of policy、organization、economic、technology and others; analyzed themultiplex passenger traffic mode from management, pointed out the strategies and focuses of management, so that we can give full play to the effect of multiplexpassenger traffic mode through integrated management and intelligent management,Under the low-carbon economy era, every way of multiple passenger traffic modecan express its’ own advantages and complement each other. Thus, with the principle ofefficient、energy-saving、environment friendly、safety、trustworthiness、economicaland advanced technology, build multiplex public transport as the main intermodaltransportation system, meet the growing diverse traffic demand, relieve urban trafficjams and other traffic problems, promote sustainable development of economic andsociety.
