The short-limb shear wall is an intergradation of structure style betweenerose-section-column frame and conventional shear wall structural.This kind ofstructure can gain better structural function. However,it is lack of deep investigationabout antitorque pertormance and additional torsion short-limb shear.To achieve the above goals,The following main work has been done.Firstly,summarizing reinforced concrete structure bearing torsion’s damage form,working mechanism and calculational modes.and in this base,T-shape-limb shearwall’s damage form and calculational modes are discussed.Secondly,narrativing nolinear finite element theory of reinforce concrete.Corresponding this paper’s purpose,damaged plasticity model is chosen as concrete’sconstitutive model, concrete elements is C3D8R(an8-node linear brick,reducedintegration,hourglass contral). failure criterion is Drucker-Prager considering certainhydrostatic force. Choosing ideal elastic-plastic model as steel bar’s constitutivemodel,its elements is T3D2(a2-node linear3-D truss).Thirdly,to prove the feasibility, finite element software ABAQUS isutilized to analysis T-shape torsional members of ordinary reinforced concrete.And on that basis,applying the elastic-plastic analysis to study the mechanicscharacteristic of pure torsion members with short-leg shear wall.then weak areais confirmed.The torsional behavior analyses are performed according toload-displacement curve.Based on pure torsional menbers investigated,thebehavior of axial stress,bending moments and these worked in coordination totorsion component is studied.and then,attaining separate load-deformation curveand analyzed. Lastly,finite element software ABAQUS is utilized to analysis T-shape crosssection members of short-leg shear wall under the lateral force along engineeringaxis.Analysis results demonstrate that additional twist is slight to strenght ofT-shape cross section members of short-leg shear wall,they can be designed onthe basis of shear load-carrying capacity and flexural capacity.
