The Comparative Study Of Architectural Context Continuation Between Chinese And Foreign Urban Renewal

With China’s rapid urbanization, some fading areas in city are in urgent need of renewal and reconstruction, and in the process of reconstruction and renewal, many places of historical context split. Meanwhile, in the tide of globalization, architectural science and technology also gradually convergence, resulted in the city regional cultural features missing "thousand city side" phenomenon, as well as problems such as the construction style are not coordination, etc. In essence are ignored the local culture in in urban renewal and reconstruction process. These increasingly crisis of serious urban characteristics and cultural, triggered the scholars attention and thinking. This pape. also tried to explore from the angle of theory research of newly scientific method on city planning and architectural design, intends to use inheritance context to the design idea and methods to provide a feasible to get rid of the crisis of losing the city characteristic.The first chapter of this paper introduces the background and the meaning of this paper, the related concepts of urban renewal and the continuation of context, domestic and foreign research situation at present, put forward the problems of context split in the urban renewal in China, and expounds the research contents and methods and research framework; The second chapter reviews the history of the Chinese and western urban renewal, and make comparative analysis on the deep reasons which influence building context continue in China and foreign countries and the value orientation of architectural context. The third chapter extracts the elements of architectural context continuation and explains them one by one, the fourth chapter sets example and does analysis on the specific way of the architectural context continuation of these elements, the fifth chapter sets Nanchang for example, summarizes the continuation of architectural context in urban renewal, and proposes the corresponding improvement measures.
