| The entrance of residential area is the node space which connected the residentialdistrict with city, and plays the role of defining and buffering. it is not only the part ofthe urban road environment, but also the starting point for the living space. It shows theresidential style to urban, while provide a sense of security and belonging forsettlements, with a transitional, blending, guiding and place gender characteristic. Therefore, a pleasant environment residential entrance can improve the quality of livingspace with multi-layered meaning.Comparing with the entrance of plain settlements, mountain residential entrancehas the distinct terrain feature, which makes it unique and regional with changes and thetrend. Chong Qing which has many mountain settlements is a typical mountain city, asthe carrier for the study. To explore the function, form and composition of the entranceof the mountain settlements, the study according to the terrain factors analyzes thecharacteristics of mountainous residential entrance under the influence of such factorsand the link between urban space and settlements layout, while discussing the designstrategies and design details from multiple levels, which will reference to the future ofmountain settlements entrance space design. This thesis follow the logic deductive process of "questions-analysis problem-theproblem solving" to formulate the full text. The article has six chapters, respected for:the introduction; the basis cognitive of the spatial characteristics of mountainsettlements entrance; the present situation research for the Mountain residentialentrance space in Chong Qing; the feature extraction of mountain settlements entrance;the design strategy about the mountain residential entrance space and the conclusion. The first chapter "Introduction", introduces the origin of the research about themountain residential entrance space, expounds the purpose and significance of the study, summarizes the related research and practice at home and abroad, and finalizes theresearch methods and framework of the paper. The second chapter explains through the related concept of mountain residentialentrance space, sums up the functions and elements of the mountain settlementsentrance space and analysis its three basic unit of the combination form. Through theabove analysis, we can get the detailed basis cognition of the mountain settlementsentrance space, and provides a theoretical basis for the below case studies and feature extraction.Chapter3through the visit survey of the mountain residential entrance space inChong Qing and the detailed analysis of four typical cases, figures out and sums up thepresent existence common problems of the mountain residential entrance space fromthree dimensions of the city, residential area and the entrance itself. Chapter4summaries the characteristics of the mountain residential entrance space compared withthe plains settlements.Based on the characteristics of the mountain residential entrance space which havebeen proposed before, it firstly proposes the principle of design ideas for the problemsby the status quo, then respectively from three aspects about the city level, communitylevel and entrance space itself expounds the design countermeasures of the mountainresidential entrance space, according to the macro, meso, micro logical sequence, functional forms and spatial sequence, as well as details of the elements of treatment, appropriate design measures. The fifth chapter based on the characteristics of mountain residential entrancespace, proposes the principles of design measures for the problems by the status quo, then in accordance with the macro, meso, micro–logical sequence, separately from thecity level, residential level as well as the entrance space of oneself three respects, putsforward the corresponding countermeasures in design for the location, functional formsand spatial sequence, as well as details of the elements of treatment of the mountainsettlements entrance space.Chapter6is the conclusion, summarizes the research results and analysis theshortfall department. |
