At present, the function imperfect, data management non-standardized, lower availabilityand other issues still exist commonly about CAD software systems of crankshaft in domestic.Aim at the above-mentioned problems, this thesis made an analysis and research on the basisof our predecessors, introducing the most advanced design ideas—usage-centered designmethodology as a guiding principle for software development. Under the premise of theresearch for crankshaft CAD software system design theory, parameter design and querymodule, strength check module, and axis neck and bearing load and lubrication analysismodule of the software system are developed, analysis of integration without third-partysoftware break through in the stage of programme design; Designed and created Accessdatabase, achieved unified management for various material and instance parameter templatedata of software system by ODBC interface technology, made progress in support area forsoftware system of database; Developed and improved fault-tolerant function, inputassociated with a template, toolbar message reminding function, a help file, clock functionsand so on. After testing and continuous improvement, this crankshaft CAD software systemwas provided with advanced and practical.Parameter design and query module is developed based on the actual needs for theimportant parameters of crankshaft, such as tolerances, roughness, and so on. We can achieveprocess parameters designed and modified by this module, such as dimensional tolerances,position tolerance, form tolerance, roughness, rolling depth, nitriding and carburizing depthand so on, and all of parameters of crankshaft queried(including Chinese name, parametersymbol, parameter values, as well as the above process parameters).For the instanceparameter template designed completely, you can bring about unified storage andmanagement by a button to import the database.Strength check module, axis neck and bearing load and lubrication analysis module isused for the strength calculation and analysis for crankshaft arm central department,connecting rod journal fillet and connecting rod journal central department using Ricardo strength calculation and analysis method after crankshaft design was completed with variableparameters and variable structure. used for load and lubrication calculation and analysis byHolland method for crankshaft spindle neck and connecting rod journal and bearing, andprovides including text and curves analysis results for axis neck load, bearing load, axis track,hole center track, maximum film pressure and minimum oil thickness of oil film pressure.Aim to data management, designed and created Access database and joined it tocrankshaft CAD software system by ODBC interface technology. Expanded further thingscharacteristics table of original crankshaft CAD software system, added technology parameterpart, and implemented unified storage management using of the things characteristics tableexpanded for instance parameter template completed design; Achieved query, modified anddelete function of material and corresponds to tensile strength by crankshaft CAD softwaresystem directly relating to Access database for material library of strength check part ofcrankshaft CAD software system, implemented finally unified storage management of allmaterial.Aim to usability support, developed a fault-tolerant function for file path and file name,association function for the new instance name to the existing instance of the template nameof Access database, message reminding function for interface toolbar variable parameters andvariable structure design and dynamic file types, help document and clock functions of maininterface of crankshaft CAD software system.We carried out continuous testing and improvement for the function modules on thedevelopment process of Crankshaft CAD software system.
