With the increase of high-rise buildings and increasingly high demand for comfort, elevator used more widely, elevator safety problem increasingly, people on the elevator door protection device security and reliability put forward higher requirement. The the d evelopment of elevator door protection device experienced a mechanical touch panels, p hotoelectric eye, two-dimensional infrared light curtains. There are some infrared detec tion of blind area, also did not predict, so people will continue to explore more perfect pr otection device research. This paper presents a high reliability of the3D elevator light c urtains protection system, which consists of2D and3D of infrared testing modules and become, among them2D light curtains is fast hardware circuit testing compartments gat e between the area.3D detection module is according to pyroelectric infrared sensor (PI R) for mobile infrared radiation of the human body for testing, so as to achieve the eleva tor door area without blind area3D detection and trend detection.This paper first analyzes the status and direction of the domestic and foreign elevator light curtain system development and design with reliability theory to improve the reliability and life experiment. The two-dimensional light curtain is a connected simple communication and rapid shift to receive infrared signal of the light curtain protection system. The system use two chips on both side of transmiting and receiveing part it take non-connected communication as standby method. Those two method both can complete the synchronus work. The emitter lightened in an order while the recever part absorb signals disposably, named as a mode of "one to many" was adopted. The singals will be stroaged parallelly and output in a serial, which can improves the storage speed highly. Function of error redundancy also being used in the system, so it can recover to the normal condition when any two nonadjacent tubes were blocked or broken. The system with adaptive control function, infrared LED luminous intensity can be controlled according to the different detection distance, it can improve the capacity and lifetime of the system’s interference. It has a sleep function, when detected without the use of the elevator, the system into sleep mode, to improve the life of the system. Besides, we designed specific circuit and structure to improve the ability of electromagnetic interference and stray light interference. We applied many tests and the result shows that this system is of high speed and high reliability.3D detection module uses PIR passive detection outside the region to form a top-down "light screen" protection, and thus the formation of three-dimensional detection with two-dimensional infrared protected areas.3D detection module without static trigger only when the moving into the3D detection zone will trigger the3D detection of the PIR, so that the system with trend detection.The tests show that, based on infrared and thermal-pyroelectric3D elevator light curtain system response, high sensitivity, high reliability, response time increased significantly, the experimental process and results have reached the design requirements and objectives.
