As for the global market competition, energy poor, environment pollution, automobile fuel economy attracts people’s more attention. Hydrostatic-mechanic transmission as a important branch of mixed power technology has caused all government, research institution and automaker’s particular attention. In this issue, a special machine-hydraulic transmission box is studied, which is installed between engine and transmission. The primary coverage of this issue as follow:Firstly, it describes the grows of hydrostatic-mechanic transmission home and abroad, analysis the operating principle and performance characteristic of hydrostatic-mechanic transmission system, which is specially used in engineering vehicles, and then decelerates this issue’s purpose.Secondly, it designees machine-hydraulic transmission scheme according to the vehicle load and transmission characteristic, and checks its strength. It also develops the controller of the system, which controls vehicle speed, load and engine functional mode integrated, implements adequate matching of engine and load.At last, it designs the3D mode on SX5255GLQ by CATIA and Pro/E, according to this vehicle’s special working condition and advanced control theory. Then it proposes the controlling mode, which is divided into transporting condition and working condition, to control the engine speed. According to the speed setting value and control theory, rectifies pump displacement, stabilizes engine speed, so it couples engine, variable pump and load, as to improve engine availability, guarantee vehicle’s power and economical efficiency.It has the advantage of hydraulic stepless speed variation and high efficiency of mechanical drive, realizes the purpose of integrated engine driven and hydraulic driven control, it satisfies the need of transit and field operation, also can save cost, reduce noise and improve work efficiency.
