Firstly in this paper,the background of research and the application of the hydraulic torque converter in the world had been introduced.Then this paper introduced the current problem of hydraulic torque converter and the development trends in the future.How to improve the dynamic performance and fuel consumption in a running vehicle is acute problem of the automobile,and it is an important way to reduce the dissipation of the energy source by improving the matching of the transmission system in the car.This dissertation is supported by research project—The matching design of hydraulic torque converter and engine.This research takes the entire vehicle transmission system as the project of study,using the Matlab software on the match and the transmission system appraisal to realize the transmission system reasonable match and the optimization.First determined the fluid drive vehicles power and the fuel oil efficiency appraisal target,through to the target research,obtains the present paper in computation simulation process goal.On the basis of the hydrodynamic drive vehicle each transmission agent mathematical model,these model include engine model, hydraulic torque converter model,vehicle driving force model drag model and so on, through researching engine and hydraulic torque converter joint work behavioral characteristic,produce the kernel calculation procedure on joint work point.Then we ascertain engine and hydraulic torque converter joint work and output characteristic calculation method.At practice vehicle trasmission procedure,while hydraulic torque converter works at unsteady-stage conditions,hydraulic torque converter' performance would be some different.Hydraulic torque converter gets dynamic characteristics at unsteady-stage conditions,through established hydraulic torque converter dynamic mathematical model,acquired hydraulic torque converter dynamic primitive characters.By researching,it causes different kinds of change intensity unsteady-stage conditions owing to surrounding changes in load more or less.The discrepancy in the field is not too much hydraulic torque converter dynamic effect.On the foundation of all mathematical model,to research hydrodynamic drive vehicle power simulation calculation using engine model,torque converter model and transmission agent model.It checks demonstration using true examples.At the same time,using matlab software makes the computational process simplicity,immediacy. It applies to various type hydraulic torque converter with motor matching,as also to advance efficiency and short working hours.In the end,the dissertation analyses each part of overall system via carry out transmission system matching goal,and gains optimize select.The main subject is the comparative study on gearbox numbers and transmission ratio.At last,it realizes entire vehicle optimal performance.
