| The folded plate grid frame is a new type of space frame, which is made by flat grid elements according to certain rules. The folded plate grid frame are widely used in the practical engineering and the force performance get increasingly valued because of its good mechanical properties, sleek ship and convenient construction. In his paper, we take the roof of a newly-built railway station in some city as the research object, the roof is a large span space grid roof structure. We mainly study the static performance and dynamic performance of this structure in this paper. The main content is as follows:Firstly, when the support of this roof are hinged support and fixed support, Using the ANSYS finite element analysis software, study the static performance of this roof under gravity, and get the bearing reaction force, the stress and strain of branch columns and the displacement on the top of branch columns, and understand the static performance of this roof by compare the force and displacementIn the ANSYS environment, when the connection between the steel roof and bearing are rigid and hinged, do the modal analysis for this gird roof by using the subspace iteration method, get the former50order natural frequencies and mode shapes of this structure, and do time-procedure analysis to understand the seismic performance of the gird roof structure. By doing contrastive analysis of the former50order mode shapes, we find that the frequency distribution of the structure is relatively dense, so we not only need to consider the low order modes, and also should consider the impact of the higher modes of the structure during seismic analysis; under eight degree rare earthquake, we use revised EI-Centro earthquake wave to do time-procedure analysis for this structure, the result shows that:in high seismic intensity area, the influence of Vertical seismic to the large span structure is relatively obvious, so we can’t neglect the influence of Vertical seismic during the seismic analysis; the kinds of the bearing type has little effect on overall structural dynamic performance of this structure.Finally, summarize all the research work in this article, obtain some valuable conclusions and point out some problems need to be solved in the future. |
