Cold-formed steel is a hot-rolled or cold-rolled strip steel at room temperature, cold-formed molding processing, with dozens of cross-sectional form of the rectangle, C-type, Z-type, U-type, has an excellent section propertiesand technical and economic benefits, the main materials of the the light portal frame housing.Rectangular section cold-formed steel frame structure is a form of the light portal frame housing structure system in a structured form, very little use in our country, but the history of Western developed countries, nearly50years of application. And increasingly welcomed by Western countries in the engineering sector. In view of the lack of reality of our carrying capacity and seismic performance of such rigid frame system to understand, rectangular cold-formed steel rigid frame factory, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province, in a single layer, the actual project as an example, the study of the class structure of the static and dynamic performance to the rectangular cold-formed steel rigid frame structure system designed to provide guidance and to promote the popularization and application of this kind of structure system in China.This paper selected practical engineering of a single-layer rectangular cold-formed steel rigid frame plant in Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province, as an object of study, the geometric model and ANSYS finite element analysis model.According to the actual situation of the project, considering the unfavorable load of the plant project, select one of the dead weight load, roof live load, wind load, and3of the most unfavorable load, combined into five different load cases, respectively, using the finite element software analysis plant stress and deformation of the monolayer rectangular cold-formed steel frame.Modal analysis with ANSYS finite element software monolayer rectangular cold-formed steel frame plant, single rectangular rigid plant natural frequencies and mode shapes Figure.Process reaction with ANSYS finite element software to simulate the the FRAME plant structure in the horizontal and vertical seismic spectrosropy under power, internal forces, displacements and rotations of the structure under the most unfa(?)orable earthquake spectral moments and get rigid frame ridge top and capitals two observation points in the direction of the x, y, z three displacement curves.After analysis drawn reasonable rectangular cold-formed steel frame house structure architecture, stiffness, the rigid frames ductility and seismic performance, has sufficient capacity, the applicability of this structural system engineering.Meanwhile, the proposed general principles and methods of the structural design of this type of rectangular cold-formed steel rigid frame plant.
