The rapid development of high-speed railways asks for strieter demands of technieal equipment modernization and also high-standard drivers.With the railway speed-up,EMU drivers should be different in locomotive operating and transportation conducting with common drivers. Also the working environment,time and organization and management mode between the two kinds of drivers are diversed.It requires the EMU drivers should obtain excellent skills,knowledge,physical quality and vocational psychology diathesis.Moreover,they ought to work under a scientific,rational and canonic working organizational system.In this paper the authors design questionnaire, listening to the drivers arrangement to hand in the comments and suggestions. Detailed investigation to the crew system,single working hours, the factors such as weight,etc.Getting a general research conclusion. That is: most EMU drivers are more willing to choose the way of conducting made fold.The most popular of the leave time is15:00to18:00, working time is9:00to12:00. Most EMU drivers can accept3to4hours made fold into way of conducting.Drivers basic identity10~14hours paid leave total time.Drivers think operation time is the most important factor.Based on the analysis of driver’s perception, judgement and operation behavior, the driver’s indications are obtained through the experimental psychology method. According to the test data, through the bayesian statistical method to determine reasonable operation time. The result is3.85h. What’s more, a relative model between long flight operations and the test index is built. Finally, the mode is validated by an example.According to the flight attendants on hand in the investigation result of circulation preference and reasonable operation time,based on description of the"four vertical and four horizontal"and three intercity dedicated passenger lines,network backbone,a crew base setting method was proposed.Meanwhile,an EMU crew organization model was proposed by analyzing the operation of the EMU.
