| With the development of economic globalization and improvement of transportation system, people’s travel frequency is increasing. Rapidly developing social economy and rising living standard together bring people’s higher demand for travel quality. The hierarchy of demands has improved significantly, which turns from the basic demands for safety and speed into requirements for safety, speed, punctuality and comfort. However, in the transportation industry, passenger’s demand varies in different time period, which makes the passenger flow unbalanced and periodic, In some specific time period, the passenger flow would have a sudden increase, which brings a lot of pressures and difficulties in transportation organization. Good transportation organization will bring large and steady passenger flow volume, thus it’s a very important issue for our rail transportation enterprise to know about how to organize the station passengers well in peak periods. In order to achieve lower production cost, less invalid operation, better conveyance process, higher work efficiency as well as maximum benefits, we should optimize transportation organization scheme meanwhile ensuring a long, steady passenger flow volume. At the same time, a particular important thing is to evaluate comprehensively the station passenger organization in peak periods, because by establish proper evaluation can we find out the best organization scheme. Evaluation is helpful to make decisions, and decisions need evaluation.The basic characters of passenger transportation are analyzed in this thesis and a passenger organization evaluation index system by using an integrated evaluation method is presented. This thesis takes Changsha railway station for example, to evaluate comprehensively the station organization scheme in peak periods and find out its weak links, which provides the basis for working out the best organization scheme to ensure high quality service in peak periods and continuously improve railway enterprise’s competitiveness. |
