Study On Key Technology Of Passenger Flow Organization Leaving Railway Transportation Hub During Spring Festival

During Spring Festival, it is a unique social phenomenon in China that all kinds of people move from one place to another, usually back to hometown. It is resulted from combination between traditional culture and modern life. The peak flow includes out-of-town laborers, students and passengers who visit relatives and travel, which causes the contradiction of capacity and traffic volume. This problem is becoming a hot social issue. Therefore, in the condition of making full use of railway hub capacity, it is important to evacuate and transfer passenger safely.There is still existing evacuation potential safety hazard in railway passenger hub during Spring Festival. With the development of passenger transportation, it is need to resolve the problem urgently that how to increase efficiency of passenger mobility in passageway in the railway hub. Meanwhile, because the passengers are usually with large baggage, how to make baggage leave station efficiently is also a problem.Based on passenger characteristics and definition of railway hub here during Spring Festival, the paper make sure object of study and their range of activity. Then psychological and behavior of characteristics general passengers are analyzed in the certain environment condition of passageway, as well as the passengers during Spring Festival. According to survey data, walking space, stride frequency, leg speed and so on are analyzed in detail. On the basis of traffic flow theory, from the aspect of microcosmic, dynamic traffic flow model about Spring Festival passengers was built. According to the airport luggage system, railway luggage system was put forward which was suitable for Spring Festival passengers.In order to measure level of passenger flow organization in railway passageway, based on several comprehensive evaluation methods, the larger influence factors on passenger flow organization were extracted in hub passageway and quantized. Then the weight of influence factors were confirmed by experts, and evaluation set was built. After contrast and calculation, scores were obtained in influence factors, and in passenger flow organization of different railway hub.In the relative inclosed and confined railway hub passageway, low level of passenger flow organization would result in public security problem. On the base of passenger organization evaluation, passenger flow in the passageway was simulated by VISSIM software. Aim at different directing facilities, contrast experiments were performed, which analyzed their strengths and weaknesses and applicable conditions. That would provide a theoretical basis for plans and measures to improve service level in railway hub.
