Interlayer seismic isolation is a new type of damping control technology extended from the base isolation, its adoption will significantly improve the structure seismic behaviors, this paper applied this technique in the upper structure on the subway platform, and studied its seismic performance.First of all, this paper briefly introduced the basic composition of seismic isolation structure and the mechanical properties of rubber bearings; Then,using the interlaminar shear model, the paper derived the motion equation of the isolation structure under the horizontal seismic,and relately discussed the solutions to the motion equation;Finally, taking an eight layer structure on the subway platform for example, assuming that the building site is in categories for II class and seismic fortification intensity is8degrees, using finite element analysis software SAP2000, separately made calculation of the horizontal seismic time-history on the seismic isolated structure and anti-seismic structure,and then contrast their natural period and mode of vibration,structure interlayer displacement, floor acceleration and shear of floor,in addition, the paper gave a certain economy analysis for the upper structure on subway platform with the technology of interlayer seismic isolation.The results show that,after using the interlayer seismic isolation technology,the structure’s period obviously increased,the layer displacement, floor acceleration and shear of floor significantly reduced.This technology greatly reduced the earthquake damage to the structure and betterly protected the personnel and property safety in the upper structure;from the economic perspective, the structure with interlayer seismic isolation technology relative to the traditional anti-seismic structure with base isolation structure also has certain advantages. Thus, the interlayer seismic isolation is a kind of effective technology which can improve the seismic performance and reduce seismic response of the upper structure on the subway platform,For the development and utilization of the upper space of the subway platform, interlayer seismic isolation technology is worthy of applying and it’s a promising technology.
