Along with the development of marine electrification and automation, marine electrical equipment and capacity of marine power station is increasing. The automatic control equipments of marine power station play an extremely important role for the safe and reliable operation of the marine power station. On the basis of analysis and researching the domestic and foreign marine power station, the research objects are shaft generator, auxiliary generator and emergency generator. According to relevant requirements of China classification society "rules for classification of sea-going steel ships", and with programmable controller (PLC) as control core, the automatic control equipments of marine power station is designed.The automatic control equipments of power station are consisted of one master computer and five substations. The master computer is industrial PC, and each substation is S7-300PLC. One of the substation control shaft generator, another control emergency generator, and each of other three substations control an auxiliary generator. The current, voltage and frequency transducers are selected.By designing the flowchart, This thesis use STEP7V5.3software to complete the shaft generator frequency automatic closing operation, load adjusting and automatic disconnecting, auxiliary generator automatic starting, paralleling, frequency regulation and automatic stopping, the emergency generator automatic starting, single frequency stability and automatic stopping etc. Use configuration software WinCC flexible to design human-machine interface for realizing the PC to control the substations.Finally, build the mathematical models of auxiliary generators and emergency generator, and use MATLAB/Simulink to simulate and test validity. Use WinCC flexible and PLCsim to simulate and test validity of control process.
