Wave making is a key technology of physical emulation for port and coastal engineering.So far wave maker has been has been an important experimental device which has beenwidely used in the field of shipbuilding, port engineering, coastal engineering and marineengineering. With the development of science and technology, the development of wavemaker gone through a series of processes from simple to complex, from rough to precious andfrom single to comprehensive. Calculating the key parameter of wave maker has undergone arapid development with the technical progress of its manufacturing. Various kinds of wavesystem has been studied and explored for different situations by many scholars at home andabroad.According to the testing requirements of port engineering, this paper analyzes anddiscusses the push-board wave maker system, and gives algorithm derivation and illustrate fordesign and performance parameters. In addition, according to the result of calculation, acomplete system for calculating the parameter of wave maker was designed by using VC++.This system could simplify the calculation process for user and designer, which improveworking efficiency. This system still belongs to initiate at home.The system has the characteristics as follows:1. Function comprehensive, include savingand printing the computation results and diagrams.2. Easy to operate, no complicatedcontrols, just enter the raw data required, we can one-off acquire all the system parameters.3.Simple interface, according to a handful of prompts, the results can be acquired withoutabundant button.
