Design And Evaluation Of High-speed Railway Passenger Service Scheme

ABSTRACT: With the rapid development of China high-speed railway, especially high-speed rail passenger service system having been put into use, the advanced concepts such as "people-oriented, personalized service" has been accepted by China railway industry and gradually implemented, but the structure and content of current railway passenger service still exist many problems. It is of great significance to research high-speed railway passenger services systematically and comprehensively.The article firstly analyzes the foreign high-speed railway and domestic and international air transport passenger services in order to understand the development trend of the current passenger service. Then service product designing theory and development trends are summarized.Through interviewing railway passenger transportation department and the front-line service personnels and historical data of passenger satisfaction survey to understand the current status quo of high-speed railway passenger service, and through large-scale passenger service survey to obtain the high-speed railway passenger demands. Service needs are analysised qualitatively and quantitatively in accordance with the travel whole process. According to passenger structural characteristics and different needs level of stations, lines and seats,service needs are divided into basic needs,extended needs,individual needs and differential needs.Calculating weights of passenger needs based on questionnaire.Designing passenger services based on QFD theory, listing service elements and calculating the weight by House of Quality. Then designing detailed services,which meet all needs of different stations, lines and seating level. Using AHP to calculate the service content weight and choosing the most important service contents. Then designing high-speed passenger railway service preliminary scheme.Finally, all service elements are scored with comprehensive consideration of transportation organization ability needs, technical equipment costs, labor costs and coordinated management so as to design the short, medium and long-term high-speed rail passenger service program.
