Research On Risk Management Of High-speed Railway Investment In Thailand

In the context of the "Belt and Road" Initiative and based on the historical origin,trade exchanges,cultural background,diplomatic relations and economic development level,China has designated Thailand as the first stop for the construction of the Trans-Asian high-speed railway to further promote the economic,political,cultural and all-round development of the countries along the belt and road,,and implement our high-speed rail "going out" strategy as well..As the China-Thailand high-speed railway investment project is a super-large transnational project,with a long project cycle and a large amount of investment,and will be built and operate in an unfamiliar market,and due to the difference of economic,social,cultural,natural environment and other factors of the two countries,China-Thailand High-speed railway investment project will inevitably face many risks.In this paper,on the basis of collating relevant theoretical research on foreign direct investment,combining with the current development situation of railway transportation in Thailand and the current progress of high-speed railway cooperation projects between China and Thailand,after systematically and comprehensively sorting out the uncertain factors that affect the risk of China's high-speed railway investment in Thailand,and analyzing the relevant literature on the overseas investment of high-speed railway,these effects are divided into two parts:SYSTEMATIC RISK AND NON-SYSTEMATIC RISK Combining the opinions of relevant experts and literature,an effective index system of risk factors is identified and established,and then the weights of each index of risk factors are calculated by using MATLAB Software Using analytic hierarchy process(AHP)to measure the risk level of China's investment in high-speed railway in Thailand,finally put forward countermeasures and suggestions to avoid the risk It also provides ideas and references for risk assessment and illusion of China's high-speed railway investment in the future.
