Automobile ride comfort is the response for the vibration resulted from vehicle vibration or the uneven road surface in the process of running. The ride comfort has a direct impact on the feeling of both drivers and passengers. There will be feeling dizziness﹑distraction and so on, even some various heart diseases when our body being in vibration environment for a long time. Then, it might easily lead to a traffic accident for drivers and a bad feeling to the next works for the passengers.Bus plays an important role in urban transport systems, whose real-time operating conditions has a significant impact on the people’s getting around. With the continuous requirements for the improvement of comfortableness asked by passengers, the research of vehicles’ride comfort has been a very important issue.The acceleration sensors﹑data loggers and other devices are selected to designed data acquisition system and data acquisition program is developed considering the factors in the variety of operating conditions according to the evaluation method. In the process of data collection, the actual operating lines of bus were selected to do the experiment of data acquisition on vibration acceleration signal in Hefei. Details of the ISO2631international standards﹑the vehicle ride comfort evaluation methods and the new indicator—integrated vibration comfort level Cgv based on ISO2631and the latest research of ride comfort and it’s derivation were introduced in the dissertation. Then the experiment was done. The weighted coefficient vector for each factor depending on the experimental conditions was determined during the experiment process and the final results of evaluation were no different with the feelings of subjective evaluation., which was about to prove the applicability of evaluation methods and the effectiveness in weighted coefficient vector’s determination of influencing factors.So, there is a powerful reference value for the particular vehicle’s design, performance’s improvement and evaluation in the specific running conditions in the dissertation. Finally, we have gone to research the real-time analysis and evaluation of ride comfort combining to the information the GPS recorded and got a result that the operating conditions of bus could be got through the vibration signal and the braking performance’s good or not had a direct impact on the conclusion of ride comfort of bus. So, the dissertation is a meaningful attempt for research on evaluation of the ride comfort of bus and future R&D integration processing system.
