Because of the oil reserves are increasingly nervous, with the growing market demand, themajor automobile manufacturers and scholars are focusing on a solution how to let fuelconsumption down, on the one hand, to improve the advanced engine technology oftraditional car, on the one hand, to develop new energy vehicles, for example, nature gasengine, hybrid electric vehicles (HEV) and so on. With the reasonable control strategy, HEVcombined with oil and electric power can improve the fuel economy substantially. Nowadays,in many control strategies, the dynamic programming control strategy (DPCS) is chosen forimprove the overall fuel economy of HEV, based on one kind of car.The major work and conclusions in this dissertation are as follows:First of all, according to the configuration of tested vehicle, the simple schematic can beabstracted. And then the model of main component can be established with the method oftheory and experiment. Third, driver model, control model, transmission model and vehicledynamic model, engine model, motor model and battery model are developed, and connectedthrough input and output variable.For the assurance of model accurate and efficiency, the test method of the key performancecurve of main component is being introduced, also compared with the actual road test dataand simulation curve. From the results, it can be verified that the model has the reliability andauthenticity, so that the further study of vehicle power distribution optimization algorithm canbe made.For the study of PHEV power distribution optimization algorithm, a dynamic programmingalgorithm for solving the global optimum economy is proposed, based on the model established in Chapter II, to give the design method of detailed parameter and theprogramming steps of dynamic programming algorithm.Based on Matlab/Simulink software platform, after adjustments to the basic testparameters, the forward calculation and the reverse searching optimization process ofdynamic programming algorithm can be completed. The NEDC test cycle simulated withChina’s testing standards and the US06test cycle, and FTP test cycle which is more strictlytest standard in the international was calculated and analyzed in this paper. Under a certaintest condition, the minimum path of vehicle fuel consumption can be found, so that thestrategies of optimal shift selection and power distribution will be got, and the purpose ofimproving fuel economy can be achieved.
