The construction of subway complex is the trend of the future urban development, the rationality of its entrance and exit arrangement is directly related to the spatial integration between subway space and other urban space, and serves as a key factor for metro planning to get involved into urban planning. Aiming at the existing problem of subway complex exploitation and the current situation of its entrance and exit arrangement, this paper does detailed research for the entrance and exit layout, the method on how to determine the entrance and exit amount as well as its width, on the basis of referring to the relevant research materials at large, through system thinking and statistical analysis.When researching subway’s comprehensive exploitation, the paper sums up the theoretical basis of subway station periphery land and the development mode, makes clear the function of underground space in the station range. In addition, it is found that the time and space coordination are main problems at present for subway’s comprehensive exploitation in our country, to know how to deal with the entrance and exit setting is very important to have problems solved. On the research about entrance and exit’s planning, first of all, the paper summarizes the entrance and exit’s function, type and characteristic. Then, principles of entrance and exit’s planning are proposed, namely the planning should be good for complex’s traffic, economic guide and passenger’s evacuation in special cases. At last, the entrance and exit of subway complex is divided into external and internal type, the former has several kinds of site selection by request of urban planning and its plane type as well as architectural design are decided according to subway’s position relation with road; as to the internal entrance and exit, its setting should be based on underground complex’s pedestrian flow, on the premise of making sure that the flow is smooth, passenger’s walking distance and diverted routing times should be reduced as far as possible in the determination of entrance and exit’s concrete position, both for commerce flow and traffic flow. As we know, subway complex has various types of entrance and exits, this paper takes passenger’s trip chain mode as the main characteristic, establishes multiple logistic regression model, and finally gets preference probability for different types of entrance and exits by using Spss software so as to predict utility number in a certain direction, which can help to decide whether it is necessary to set an entrance and exit there. In the part of the determination of entrance and exit’s width, the paper proposes a method to calculate the width which considers that passengers pass through entrance and exits on a certain service level, according to pedestrian flow macroscopic traffic characteristics by applying Greenshields traffic flow theory. Compared with the traditional calculation method, the new method ensures passengers to go through entrance and exits more safely and comfortably. In the end of the paper, a case study of the entrance and exit setting of ShiJieZhiChuang station in Shenzhen Metro is conducted by using the method created in the paper.
