The deformation monitoring of tunnel engineering has lots of content and the period is quite long, the tunnel may have some hidden safety hazard at any time. So it’s difficult to reflect the real situation by the artificial monitoring as its time-consuming and intensive labor. With the development of Geo-informatics, Internet of things(IOT) technology, whitch take the digital information as the core, has had a far-reaching influence on the original design patterns and the techniques of testing and monitoring. The development of satellites, total stations, sensors, mobile communications, internet and some other technologys resulted in a modern monitoring system based on IOT.Located in the middle of Tianshan Montains in Xinjiang, Yanshuigou tunnel has played an important role in the WestEast pipeline. However, there may have some hidden safety hazard as the tunnel area has a complex geological and harsh surrounding. In order to timely evaluate the health of the tunnel, the implement of long-time and real-time monitoring and forewarning is quite necessary. Therefore, this thesis proposed a solution of high precision and remote automatic monitoring and forewarning system on the basis of IOT. In the process of scheme design and system development, I made an intensive study of various aspects of the key technologies, achieved the following results:1. Through the study of deformation monitoring technical characteristics and IOT technical architecture, designed a specific solution for deformation monitoring based on IOT.2. Designed the IOT communication link of deformation monitoring, and developed the program of GPRS DTU data communication, therefore the remote automatic data acquisition and communication is achieved.3. Researched the calculation model of3D reference net,3D monitoring net and sensor net, and the prediction model of long period monitoring data.4. First proposed the fuzzy transformation relations of monitoring value, warning value and safety assement, then improved the AHP-FCE model for tunnel evaluation.5. Researched the3D modeling and visualization of tunnel engineering based on OpenGL, and integrated the3D deformation model into the monitoring system.Through the above research, an IOT monitoring system, named Tunnel_GeoNMOS, which has functions of multi-source data receiving, processing, analyzing, evaluating and visualizing is developed.
