The Railway Intermediate Station Shunting Operation Plan’s Auto-generation Research

As the new generation of CTC system in our country has be applied on mixed passenger and freight running line, the traditional scheduling model has changed a lot, not only improved the capacity of existing line, but also reduced the intensity of dispatcher. But some functions of the system still needs to further improve, part of the work which have been finished by artificial need to change to programmed and intellectualized. The implemented of the function of the intermediate station shunting operation plan’s auto-generation could change the traditional of shunting operation plan which be compiled by artificial, and it will change the factors which be considered by artificial in the past to judge by the computer. While the focus of this paper---under the condition of CTC, considerations of intermediate station shunting operation; the rules of the intermediate station shunting operation; the judgment process of rules on the different of shunting operations etc are all precondition and difficulty which the realization of shunting operation plan’s auto-generation by computer. Their research related to the establishment and improvement of the knowledge base and inference engine in exports system of the intermediate station shunting operation plan’s auto-generation, and they are also assurance for efficiency of compiling of the intermediate station shunting operation plan and for quality of the intermediate station shunting operation plan. The main work of the paper are as follows:The article generalize and summarize the intermediate station equipment and the types of stations that had relationship with shunting operation, the location and orientation of station device.The article sketch the new generation of Centralized Traffic Control System, made a detail study on compiling the intermediate station shunting operation plan, and expatiate on the necessity of automatic generation of shunting operation plan.The article combination with the characteristics of the intermediate station shunting operation, adopt the corresponding algorithm to take the placing-in and taking-out of wagons problem to be optimized, provide a practical support for the order of placing-in and taking-out of wagons.The article focus on summarizing the rules of shunting operation of the electric locomotives and diesel locomotives in the intermediate station, and on the basis of the rules,sum up the judgment process of rules on the different of shunting operations, express them in the form of a flowchart...
