Study On Energy-saving System For Highway Tunnel Ventilation And Lighting

With the rapid economic development in our country, urban roads and highwaytransportation industry are also rapidly developing, with the growing of the number of tunnels,long tunnels and mountain tunnels have increased. The tunnels exterior and interiorenvironment varies greatly, however, in our country the study of tunnel mostly focused onhow to light tunnels which ignored chauffeur’s dark and bright adaptation. So the key pointin this paper are how to improve the quality of tunnel lighting environmental and theflexibility of the configuration of the tunnel brightness through tunnel lighting controltechnology to ensure the safety of the tunnel.Firstly, the tunnel control system framework is introduced. Then, the principle of theselection of the hardware and software platform and the lamp is given. Secondly, the designand implementation of the control system of the host computer is shown, including a hostcomputer interface display function, parameter settings, the control mode selection functionsand communication functions etc. Setting for selection control mode and light intensity insidethe tunnel through two kinds of configure files are the most important part in this section, andthe design and the concrete realization are introduced in detail. In addition, combination withthe system requirements, the slave computer system which can drive multiple LED strings isdesigned. The slave computer system receives data from the host computer system bycommunication protocol to change the related LED illumination. A tunnel model verifiedthe feasibility and adaptability of the system.
