Widely used in the design and development of automobile and motorcycle products,CAE analysis technology has entered a more mature stage in most foreign countries. Finiteelements are commonly used in the simulation analysis on car’s engine, chassis, body, vehicle,etc., from structure, dynamics, ride comfort to manipulation. China’s motorcycle industry hasfound an increasingly wide utilization in finite elements early, which now has arrived at ahigher level on self-development. Finite elements are also used in the testing of the latestmain parts produced by Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha and other large enterprises. These parts comeout to have a great advantage on the performance, speed and costs. However, in many respectsChina’s motorcycle industry are still struggling with its product development by usingconventional process.The article emphasises on proposing some improvement solutions according to theresearch on vibration of a certain motorcycle. With a company in cooperation, our reasearchteam spent a year improving the program and applying to the actual process by using theoriginal trailers CAE modeling and simulation analysis, the original vehicle vibration analysisof experimental state analysis of the original Cars experiment(1) The original trailers CAE modeling and simulation analysis. With the establishmentof frame digital model and simulation model, it came out the simulation results andimprovement measures.(2) By using the vehicle vibration analysis experiment, comparing the vibration of acertain motorcycle with Wuyang Honda Viagra collar150under the tatic and road testconditions, it came to a conclusion that the former has a higher vibration amplitude on the leftand right pedal, handle and engine front mounting bracket, which are asking for moreimprovement.(3) The Cars-state analysis of experimentalThe experimental modal analysis is a method using artificial vibration on research object so asto get the information of its vibration strength and reaction, thereby to identify the dynamicparameter.From the first six stages, it came to a conclusion that the certain motorcycle has aweakness in the rigidity of the whole framestage one, the vibration amplitude of bending is large when the steering column runningin up and down; while in stage two, frame main beam bent by a big margin,second-ordersupport tube and inclined tube torsion pendulum vibration mode, bendingsignificantly higher modes on the support tube Wiggler and bend significantly.(4) The improvement and application of the certain motorcycle frame after the use ofscheme one. The improvment after the experiment results in better effect on reducing thevibration. It finally achieved the requirements of manufacturers and brings good economicreturns.
