A Study On The Rebuilding Of River’s Landscape In The Downtown Of Guangzhou

Urban rivers have played important role in the development of society and city.Alongwith the outspread of city, environmental problems have become increasingly prominent, thevarious functions of city produced a lot of conditions, urban river is not inevitable, such aswater pollution, river ecological deterioration. Therefore, how to restore the damaged riverlandscape, to become healthy, pleasant river is a key for urban rivers to protect, renew anddevelop.（1）Summarizing the circumstances of urban river reconstruction in foreign countryand homeland.Problems are pointed out,while experience and lessons in practice and researchare summed up.(2)Studying the evolution of Guangzhou urban river in history.Probing into the intrinsticfactors of Guangzhou urban river landscape reconstruction, and penetrating the direction andstrategy of urban river landscape in Guangzhou from the angles of history.(3)It is summarized the urban river’s landscape was rebuild in Guangzhou in recentyears.According to the characteristics of river in Guangzhou, two typical engineeringexample,Donghao river and Liede river,are introduced and analyzed,and their achievement islisted while unsolved and neglectful problems are pointed out.(4)Pointed out that the current Guangzhou river construction and renovation of existingproblems, from the natural landscape and the cultural landscape two aspects carry on thediscussion. Natural landscape river water environment governance, ecological revetmentdesign, landscaping, summed up the ecological design method; Humanistic landscape onRiver coast of architectural culture heritage protection, coastal leisure space construction, thecontinuity of the integration method.
