The loader back frame and working devices are connected by front frame which is theimportant part of loader. Other parts are assembled with the front frame. The forces and torquesof working devices are transferred to loader front frame during the walking and working process.The effect of loader is based on the front frame’s strength and stiffness. The front frame iswelded by steel plates. The structure and load condition of front frame is so complex. Lowintensity and weld seam cracking of certain parts in the process of application would seriouslyaffect the safety of the loader and its service life.A certain type of loader is research object in this paper. The simulation of whole operationprocess is used by3D software Pro/E, dynamics simulation software ADAMS, and the finiteelement simulation software ANSYS. The analysis of strength and local welding stress of loaderfront frame is completed.The3D model of loader are created by the using of Pro/E, combined with the application ofdynamic simulation software ADAMS to carry out the dynamical imitation, the load of the frontframe under various working conditions can be obtained, which verifies the feasibility of Pro/Eand ADAMS combining to work together and improves productivity.The loader front frame is meshed by using the professional network softwareHypermesh.The required time of mesh is reduced and the quality of mesh is improved. Throughthe analysis of strength of loader front frame in different working conditions, the weak parts ofthe constructure are be founded.The analysis of strength of loader front frame in different working conditions can becompleted with the help of ANSYS, through using of Hypermesh modules of Hyperworks.Through the analysis of strength of front frame by the ANSYS program. The analysis of localwelding stress of loader front frame are finished by the element birth and death technique whichprovided by the ANSYS. The discipline of welding stress is concluded under representativeopening angle.The theoretical foundation for the design of loader front frame, the guidance on the openingangle of weld and the basis of dynamic simulation and optimization are provided by this study.
