Study On The Model And Some Related Technical Problems Of Pallet Pool System Based On Alliance

As a very important containerization appliance during logistics transportation, it can enhance the handling efficiency in the logistics process. Pallet Pool System (PPS) is a guaranteeing the persistence operation of pallets and maximizing its performance, It helps to improve the modernization level of logistics and reduce logistics costs significantly. Now in china, the study of PPS is still less, and most of them are theory. In order to solve this problem, this article attempts to find the right way to establish our PPS by study on the model and some related technical problems of PPS, hoping that will give guidance for the follow-up study of the theory and practice-building activities.Firstly, based on the analysis of PPS status and the situation of pallet industry, there is some pallet leasing companies in china, this paper perform a way to establish PPS by unite these companies. Then, discuss the organizational structure and operational model of PPS. After that, focus on two important problems:partners selection and profit distribution.for partners selection, this paper presents the "two stage" method, that is using qualitative methods to choose, then use genetic algorithms to select partners exactly. This approach combines the advantages of both qualitative assessment and quantitative analysis, it will be more realistic.for profit distribution, this paper give full consideration the contribution of the partners to the quantifiable profit and the non-quantifiable profit, the proceeds are divided into two parts, part1distribute on quantifiable factors; part2distribute on non-quantifiable factors, just like influence, risk, etc. In addition,30pallet leasing companies as the object, choice five better companies finally, establish PPS with these five companies, and make analysis of the profit distribution about this PPS, the results prove the advantages of establish PPS on alliance, and useful to the company practice.
