In recent years, with fast economic development, large-scale public buildings has got cosiderable growth around the world, For the structure which set the constriction joints according with the codes need not considerate the impact of temprature on buildings.However, in order to meet the needs in function and improve the integrity of the structure, it is usually don’t set or set less constriction joints, such construction is against the codes of our country, the temprature effect is one of the important factor in overlong structure. The codes methods contain seting expansion joints, locating construction steel, alter-pouring strips. Refer to the Rubber bearings has been successful applied in bridge engineering, the paper take the Wuhan contact center background as reference, And try to set base isolation bearing to reduce the thermal stress and deformation in the structure.On the other hand, china is a country of many seismic, and the seismic zone is widely distribute. specially in May12,2008wenchuan earthquake, the disease of the earthquake affected about half of china, caused callapsed of many buildings and serious casualties and propety. the traditional antic-seismic method design is based on enhanced the strength of the structure and increase the stiffness of the space, for example, set the shear wall in frame structure, set up the ring beam in masonry structure, improve the support in steel structure or enhance the node, increase the strength and the ductility of the material. Practice has proved that traditional method of seismic design is not perfect, the use of base isolation technology is an effective method, this method use some kind of isolation devices to divide the souces from structures. it’s purpose is to reduce the vibration on the structures, extend the natural period of the structure, So as to weaken the motion response of the structure.Firstly the paper introduce the mechanical properties of the isolation bearing. then analysis the temperature load on the overlong structure, describe the current domestic and international research related to isolation technology, the finite element theory related to temperature stress and finite element software, the principle of the isolation structure. secondly the paper use the finite element analysis software sap2000to establish the structure which contain vibaration mount and the structure which don’t contain vibration mount, the structure is constructed by frame elements and Shell elements. The paper consider the influence of creep and shrinkage on the temperature load, and Translated it into equivalent shirinkage temperature. the paper caculate the stress and the deformation of the structure under the temprature load then analysis and compare The results.For the isolated structure and traditional structure, it’s necessary to compare the seismic performance, the paper choose three group of seismic wave based on the Site classification and earthquake group. which contain Elcentro, Taft, Tianjing wave. the paper use time history method to caculate the models under the frequently and rare earthquake, then get the period of the structure, base shear force, vertex displacement and vertex acceleration of top point of the struture in frequently and rare earthquake. the paper analysis and compared The results of the isolated structure and the non isolated structure to verify the reliability of base isolation and could receive good results in overlong structure.
